The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is proud to announce that Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios and Deborah Mars of Annapurna Interactive have been appointed to the AIAS’ Board of Directors effective immediately.
The AIAS Board of Directors is the governing body of the 30,000+ plus member base and is composed of 13 industry leaders representing Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, Tencent, Respawn, and the ESRB as well as representatives from the independent development community like Bonfire Studios and Haven Entertainment.
“We are grateful and excited to welcome two new members to our board as they bring their unique talents, expertise, and perspectives to the work of the Academy,” said Meggan Scavio, President of the AIAS. “Mars and Howard will help steer and further our dedication to the advancement and recognition of the interactive arts and our global members.”
