The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences® proudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of the most prestigious awards in the gaming industry. Always among the biggest nights of the year, the 10th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards® took place on Thursday, February 8, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Held at "The Joint" at the Hard Rock Hotel, the ceremony's 10th anniversary show brought together the best, brightest, and biggest names in gaming to celebrate accomplishment, creativity, and great games from 2006, as well as recognizing industry achievement with a special 10th anniversary "Hall of Fame" inductee.
The 10th anniversary ceremony was hosted by comedian, actor, and avid gamer, Jay Mohr, and included many of the biggest names in the gaming industry. The pre-ceremony kicked off events with food, drinks, and entertainment at the Hard Rock’s trendy "Body English." Following the pre-awards celebration was the red carpet for awards nominees and special guests.
